Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas all ya' all! Like many of you we are very excited for Christmas for Payton! (you excited for your own kids and family not just for Payton i mean) Kids make it that much more fun! Life is crazy busy right now for everyone. Hope you all have a great one! I have VERY exciting news to share, but i first need a picture to share it! so after the holidays...! (some of you may already know! but I got permission to blog about it so i can't wait!)

Payton's many hats..er sorta!

so these pics did not upload in the right order! this was head gear # 3. and just minutes after the crown she comes out with the feather!

moments later she decided that she would say cheese for me wearing her crown that she wears more like a head band. head gear #2

Head gear #1 so when i asked her to turn around to smile she decided instead to hide by the doll house and say "no" my sweet little princess!

She was quiet for a long time this morning when i went in to check on her i found her playing with her dolls in the doll house. what is so funny (to me) is that whenever she plays with them she wears this hat of hers. I don't know if it is because her dolls are wearing hats too?

and this was last night, delayed FHE activity that she loved and she did the decorating, i managed the frosting, which at times looks more like a child did it than the actually decorating! I thought she did a pretty good job! She decorated one with Biz a couple weeks ago and that is all she has talked about. so we thought we should do another!

One of these people just doesn't belong here?... So now i see why people said she looked so much like her daddy or just not like me. Perhaps there is more of a resemblance with my hair now darker than when it was so BLONDE in these pictures!!! Yah know, if i didn't look so well, AwkWaRd I think this could be a darling family picture. Jeremy and Payton look great! Hopefully i can get some others re-taken. (amanda? if we can fit it in?)

BRITE

Okay this may not be funny to anyone without some explaining. So Candace picked mom up right from work and met Jer and I down at Disney On Ice. We didn't know it until we saw each other, we were all wearing the SAME necklace, "Brite" from the Park Lane Jewelry i sell. Soo funny, what are the odds!

And yes i do realize in every picture i am the closest to the camera trying to back up therefore giving myself a very attractive double chin! it was either these or no pics at all. so i guess, i lose!

DisNey oN Ice!!!

So we went to DISNEY ON ICE!!!! Payton went in her Minnie Mouse dress from Halloween. Her and Cousin Cooper before the show started!!! She was so excited at this point to see so many mickey mouse and princess things everywhere!

This is pretty typical of that night. We couldn't get her to look Anywhere away from the show. She LOVED it so much!! It was as much fun watching her as it was the show. Literally, she didn't blink! and her mouth was open in a grin the entire night! I thought that somewhere in the show she would lose interest, NOPE!! she was dancing, clapping and pointing out the characters the ENTIRE time!!!

Halloween 08!

So grandma Hubbard has a castle in her house, yep, you heard me right a castle! the grandkids love it! so she decorated it for halloween! Grandma Hubbard makes donuts for Halloween trick or treaters!

This is Payton and Cousin Maci the good witch. cousin Mckenna is there in the corner as well.

Halloween O8!

So here is Minnie Mouse with the cutest bumble bee and lady bug you i have ever seen! This is Halle and Annie, there brother Cameron aka swamp monster! and cousin Cooper aka Jango Phet (star wars).

We saw Spiderman Beckam out trick or treating! Payton looks stunned in all the pics you would never have known that she was having a BALL trick or treating!. She didn't really get the "trick or treat" she was always just looking in amazement at who or what answered the doors. But she always said thank you and would want to "run fast" to the next house!

So for those of you who know Deryl you know this is typical. For those of you who don't, well i will just say he is such a FUN FUN man! Befor you could get candi and his house you and to "shake it! and "get down!" So here is Candace and Deryl doing their best!

Halloween Picinic?!?!

So who does a picnic on Halloween? That would be Payton and I. So since it was 60 something I took her to the park for a picnic. It actually was really nice, we had the park all to ourselves....we must have looked strange at the park OCt 31rst. Oh well she had fun and now she is worn out fast asleep! So it was a great day! I am excited for tonight.
So i dyed my hair dark, still getting used to it so that is why i didn't post any pictures. I guess halloween is a great time to experiment. No it is okay but call me crazy i FEEL more comfortable as a blonde. But change is good and it is only a semi color!

My parents and Jeremy's parents came up to visit and all Payton did the ENTIRE time is take one or more back to show them her room. That or she would come out all dressed up in her "pretty dress." What a show off! she gets that from Jeremy you know!!;)

And one more picture by our pumpkins, she wanted one like Micky Mouse and since the biggest pumpkin was hers (of course) that is my attempt of mickey made of pumpkin. (yes it would be cuter with mini pumpkins at the ears but for one day...paper will due!)

Pumpkin Walk

So we went to a small pumpkin walk in our town. Payton liked it, I think. She kept going back to the pumpkin display that gave away free candy.

her favorite was probably this bear picnic display. She likes the story Goldilocks and the 3 bears so she kept asking where Goldilocks was.

She was fascinated with the witch, just a little timid to get too close.

I am so excited for Halloween! I love this holiday and Payton is so excited to dress up in her costume. (i will get those halloween pics up.)

Drum roll please... so those of you who got the wonderful opportunity to play in our doll house as a child well, do you recognize it now?! I FINALLY finished the remodel. (Payton got it for her B-day and I just now got around to it.) She loves it, and sitting in it too! go figure!

So Payton wanted a picture of Payton and Mom both in our curlers! Yeah I know it is one of my best!

Another pic of the doll house but i really am getting it of Payton and those AMAZING legs!! So Payton and I go to a mommy and me ballet and gymnastic class each week! She absolutely loves it ! I is so funny, while she is dancing she has this permanent grin on her face then she just giggles when she dances with the other cute girls her age!

These last tw0 pictures are probably the last we will have at the park this year! She loves it when we go so i Hope that fall is long and spring is early.

Class Reunion

OKAY! For those of you who are in the same graduating class as Jeremy and I, please read this.

So I just registered on our high school class website and I feel bad that so few of us are "registered."
We missed the 5 year and sadly the 10 year is just around the corner!!!

So PLEASE if you haven't, please go to our high school website and register so that we can locate as many as possible. If you can get the word out and help locate as many as we can as soon as we can!

Back in the saddle. When there are rides around you know you will find Payton on the "merry-go -round" her favorite ride.

There was another ride beside the carousel that she wanted to ride more than once. This cute pirate ship and duck ride. She liked the back seat so she could turn around and talk to the duck the entire ride. Really! the second time she rode it i tried putting her in the front seat, she wanted none of that!

Peach Days, for me, is the official end of summer! So with Peach Days now 363 days away, summer is gone! So sad, I feel like it has been such good fun summer. We have really enjoyed it with Payton! Now let us all hope for a long fall and early spring, at least right now anyway, i just am not looking forward to cold, coat weather!

Peach Days 2008

SO Peach days once again! Payton was excited to watch the parade because i think she knew that you get candy at parades!

So the reason i look so "beautiful" is because i had just ran the Peach Days 10 K race. Thanks to Ashlee for running with me. She is the reason that we finished 5th in our age group. I don't know what metal that would be in the Olympics (aluminum maybe?) but i proudly accept! Thanks for pushing me. I ran it last year by myself and it was easy to slow down when i got tired. With a partner, it kept my on pace. I can now say it was a lot of fun, if you would have asked my around mile 41/2 i probably wouldn't have given you a very nice response!

Back to the parade... yep Payton loves going for the candy!

Ode to Summer!

The Adventure Home!

You know I have to say, i am really glad Jeremy knows how to change a tire. When we blew the tire I Kinda panic inside. Just glad that he stays so calm and knows just what to do. Later on the same drive home another tire lost it's tread. (being that we were coming home Saturday evening, we didn't have the chance to fix our tire to have a second spare.) So we had to drive 50 mph for 30 nervous miles in a canyon with no place to pull off if that tire blew too. (Keep in mind that on this drive home we passed two terrible accidents where the trailers had rolled.) We made it to Jer's aunt's house to park the trailer before going the rest of the way home. the 3&1/2 hour trip took us 5 &1/2 long hours! But we are safe! Thanks Mom and Dad for staying with us!
